On the far side of SG-69 is this bit of madness...

I spent many hours this week working on a prop for a stage fantasy production I'm doing at the Alameda County Leather Corps annual contest next weekend.

It's inspired by the "Excessor Machine" scene in Barbarella.

I'm bushed, I'm sore everywhere (stretching and stapling -- hundreds of staples -- vinyl upholstery onto the bench for several hours)... but the result is really something.
