It took some time for me to connect with the delivery department for Cal Wine Cellars -- Vinocraft (they had the wrong last digit for my cell number, and I was swamped during the day at work and kept not having time to retrieve the number from voicemail). Once I did we arranged for delivery this morning.
I asked them how early they could arrive, and was told the warehouse didn't open until 8:30. So we made an appointment for them to deliver around 9:30, with a guarantee they'd be here before 10.
I got up, went for a run on the elliptical at the gym, and got back about 9:00. They'd already called to confirm our address.
At 9:20 they arrived and went to work. By 9:45 they were done.
I've had to deal with so many dreadful examples of customer service lately, especially with service appointments, that I thought it appropriate to put a shout out about a company that still does it right.
