Little known fact about fight-or-flight

Did you know that Sudafed (psueudoephedrine hydrochloride), which is an analogue of ephedrine, has physiological effects related to ephinephrine?

Epinephrine, of course, is related to adrenaline. This is one of the reasons that Sudafed/ephedra can leave you with all those lovely meth-like side effects.

Well, it turns out that it works the other way around, too.

After trying to cope with a difficult situation on Tuesday evening I found it nearly impossible to sleep due to the adrenaline reaction.

On the other hand, my sinuses were much clearer!

Just another random example of the miracle of human physiology...

Oh, yeah: Happy Birthday to my Sister Kelly!</2>
